Each of the final locations will become a destination stop-off on a round-Britain road trip undertaken by the magazine’s editorial team in their own classic cars. At each stop, the crew will be joined by the magazine’s readers for a pop-up classic car meet turning out in force to support them.

Beaulieu is in esteemed company in the shortlist as one the most scenic locations to drive to in the UK. Practical Classics Editor Danny Hopkins said: “We’ve had suggestions for the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, to the dramatic mountain passes of Cumbria and Snowdonia. There have also been submissions for many museums and historic sites… anywhere with space to put your classic and experience something memorable, and to take a great photo!”
