Join the National Motor Museum Trust team for a specialist Transport Torques evening lecture on Saturday 14th December with Trustee and Chairman of the National Motor Museum, Christopher MacGowan.
Many supporters of the National Motor Museum will know Christopher MacGowan as its long-term Trustee and Chairman. Few know of his fascinating career in the British motor industry, working for British Leyland, Massey Ferguson and the RMI during the turbulent times of the 1970s and 1980s, before becoming Chief Executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders in the 1990s.
Christopher will talk about the challenges he faced in the motor industry, and share with us some highlights both from that career and his time with the Museum.
