Join us between 15 – 23 February 2025 and step back in time as history comes to life across the attraction with exciting historical hands-on activities!
Explore the attraction and keep an eye out for living history characters who might need your assistance with engaging hands-on activities.
Meet our living history characters and take part in fun activities!
the Mechanic
Pop down to Jack Tucker’s Garage in the National Motor Museum. The garage is a treasure-trove of motoring history so pull on some overalls, don your flat cap and learn about life as a country mechanic, where there’s plenty of bolts, nuts and artefacts to tinker with!
Lord Montagu’s Valet
Meet friendly costumed staff in Palace House. Head upstairs to the bedrooms where you may find Lord Montagu’s Valet working hard to make sure the house guests are comfortable. Be prepared as you may also be put to work!
the Bus driver
Hop on our replica 1912 London Bus for a nostalgic ride around the attraction. Chat to the bus driver about his important job, and make sure you collect your bus ticket and character card!
Palace House Cook
Meet Lord Montagu’s cook in Palace House and try out some of the curious kitchen gadgets they still use to this day. Ask her what she is preparing and what’s on the menu for Lord Montagu’s dinner tonight.
Plus much more…
A romantic day out
Get your steps up with a family stroll around our wonderful grounds and gardens. Or enjoy a romantic valentines day out by bringing an engraved lock to ‘lock-in’ your love forever on Beaulieu’s Love Lock Tree, nestled within the picturesque Victorian Flower Garden.
Little Beaulieu
Little Beaulieu is the place to get hands-on with crazy contraptions and let imaginations run wild! As part of this enchanting play area, peer through the telescope, call down through the fun funnel speaker, and play a tune on the melodic xylophone chimes.
