Beaulieu is calling for everyday cars of the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties to join its new display Forgotten Favourites, part of the award-winning International Autojumble which will return on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September.
Honouring the cars of 1960-1990 that used to be on every street corner, but are now long-forgotten, the nostalgia-fuelled display will bring back memories of family holidays, driving lessons, baking hot vinyl seats and beige colour schemes, with long-lost first cars, family wagons, scarce saloons and historic hatchbacks of the past.
Is your much-loved pre-1990 historic motor the sort of everyday car that is now rarely seen on the roads? Perhaps it’s just like the one you learned to drive in, or reminds you of the car your parents drove back in the day? Then apply to be considered for the display by clicking here. Places are limited and show entry is free for vehicles that are accepted. Successful owners will receive a pair of three-day entry wristbands for International Autojumble.
From the Vauxhall Chevette, Renault 16, Austin Allegro and Datsun Bluebird, to the Volkswagen Polo, Citroen CX, Triumph Toledo and Volvo 240, not to mention the scarcely-seen DAF 66, Talbot Samba and many more besides… all examples are welcome.
Eagerly anticipated by thousands of motoring enthusiasts, International Autojumble has been a cornerstone of the event season for over half a century and is the place to search for bargains and great buys. In addition to the huge selection of spare parts on offer for historic vehicles are motoring books, model cars, vintage clothing, signs, collectables, automobilia and other automotive treasures.
Automart will feature an impressive selection of classic cars for sale, with Dealermart offering top condition classics from traders. While on Sunday Trunk Traders offers the chance to find bargains as enthusiasts sell assorted motoring jumble from their car boots.
The Bonhams MPH auction will take place on both days of the show, with automobilia going under the hammer from 11am on Saturday 4th, while collectors’ cars and motorcycles will be sold from 10am on Sunday 5th.
Early one-day and two-day visitor tickets are available, with a limited number of premium tickets giving priority parking, fast entry and a complimentary Showguide. For more details and to book your tickets click here. Exhibitors and Trunk Traders can book their stands online by clicking here.
