Two brand new events have been announced as tickets for Beaulieu’s 2020 calendar go on sale, with Blue Light Day gathering emergency services machines in the grounds of the National Motor Museum and Simply Electric expanding the successful Simply range.
Get up-close to the latest emergency services vehicles at Blue Light Day on Sunday 26th April and see fully kitted-out fire engines and ambulances, the purposeful motors of the police, Coastguard, Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and other vital services. You will be amazed by the sights and sounds of these machines which are used to save lives.
Clamber inside the impressive machines used by the Fire and Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service, then see their vintage counterparts in the impressive display. You may even spot a 1950s Green Goddess fire engine or maybe a 1960s police ‘panda’ car.
Become a big kid for the day and see feature displays, before meeting the incredible crews who drive and ride in the fast response vehicles and learn about their work. The action-packed event takes place on National Drive It Day, as historic vehicles take to the road up and down the country – so why not make Beaulieu your destination!
Also buzzing with excitement will be Simply Electric, sparking into life for the first time on Sunday 24th May at the start of May half-term.
Enthusiasts will be at the heart of the event as owners of electric and plug-in hybrids, electric motorcycles and e-bikes are invited to park in the grounds of the National Motor Museum and talk technology.
From the latest high-performance Tesla, through cutting-edge family cars the Jaguar I-PACE and Audi e-tron, to the popular Nissan Leaf and Toyota Prius and even the Sinclair C5 design classic, all electric vehicles and their owners are welcome. If it runs on battery power, then silently motor your way across the New Forest to join in.
Simply Electric is the latest addition to Beaulieu’s successful range of Simply rallies. With record-breaking turn-outs for no less than four of this year’s ten rallies, the Simply range continues to expand next season.
Also new for 2020 is the new feature of Retro Village at Spring Autojumble on May 16th-17th, where vintage and retro traders will offer fashion, accessories, homewares and collectables for the first time. They will join more than 1,000 stands which are a treasure trove of classic car parts, motoring literature and automobilia. Special displays will be provided by the Saab Enthusiasts’ Club – marking 60 years of the Saab 96 – Austin A30 & A35 Owners’ Club and popular MoggyFest.
The world-renowned International Autojumble will return on September 5th-6th, featuring a soon-to-be-announced new classic car display, as well as 2,000-plus stands and Bonhams auction putting rare finds under the hammer.
High-octane Beaulieu Supercar Weekend on August 8th-9th will celebrate the event’s 10th anniversary with even more incredible supercars, special features and demonstration runs to put some of the world’s greatest performance cars to the test.
Fireworks Spooktacular will provide family entertainment with a Halloween theme on October 31st at one of the biggest displays in the south. Meanwhile, Hot Rod & Custom Drive-In Day offers the perfect Father’s Day on Sunday 21st June with amazing cars and bikes set against the backdrop of live music and style from the custom scene.
Beaulieu’s record-breaking range of Simply rallies will invite owners to celebrate key anniversaries across the car marques, including half a century of the genre-defining Range Rover at Simply Land Rover, 45 years of the Jaguar XJ-S at Simply Jaguar, 15 years of the V8 Vantage at Simply Aston Martin and 35 years of the Ford Sierra Cosworth at Simply Ford.

mAY 3 – Simply ford
This event is one of the biggest and most popular Simply rallies when we expect more than 1,400 Fords to join the display, in the 35th year of the Ford Sierra Cosworth.
mAY 16-17 – spring autojumble
Introducing the new Retro Village feature to complement the weekend of buying and selling. More than 1,000 stands will offer everything from automobilia to cars for sale. Special displays include a Saab 96 60th anniversary line-up, plus MoggyFest and Austin A30/A35s.
MAY 17 – Land Rover Rummage at Spring Autojumble
A trading corner of Spring Autojumble dedicated to enthusiasts and owners of the iconic Land Rover, packed with spares and accessories for sale.

Beaulieu is the host venue for the annual National Mini Cooper Register Rally, attracting thousands of Minis of every age, marque and model to the heart of the New Forest.

The 750 Motor Club will return to Beaulieu for its 58th largest gathering of Austin 7s in the UK. All manner of these much-loved cars will join the display.
JUly 12 – simply land rover & rummage
The legendary Range Rover is sure to be well-represented in the diverse line-up of Land Rovers and Range Rovers of every age, model and condition. Simply Rummage brings a Land Rover themed autojumble to the show.
JULY 26 – simply japanese
From city runabouts to performance sports cars, Japanese cars of every variety will join the rally, which is always a favourite with owners’ clubs and enthusiasts’ groups.
AUGUST 8-9 – BEAULIEU SUPERCAR WEEKEND
Beaulieu’s 10th high-octane celebration of the supercar, this two-day event will bring together iconic models and special feature displays in the stunning backdrop of the Beaulieu parkland.

One of the biggest fireworks displays in the south and choreographed to music, this popular event offers a range of family entertainment and can’t miss celebrating a Halloween theme for 2020.
